Author Guidelines
The Sigma Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences (SJMSS) welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, short communications, editorials, and letters to the editor in mathematics, statistics, data science, applied mathematics, computational sciences, probability, and related interdisciplinary fields.
Submissions must be original, written in clear academic English, and not under consideration by another journal or publication. All authors must approve the submitted version of the manuscript and agree to comply with the journal’s editorial and publication ethics policies.
Manuscripts should include the following elements where applicable:
• Title
• Author names and affiliations
• Corresponding author information
• Abstract
• Keywords
• Main text
• Equations, tables, and figures where applicable
• Acknowledgements
• Funding information
• Conflict of interest statement
• Data availability statement where applicable
• References
Research articles, review articles, and short communications are subject to double-anonymous peer review. Authors should prepare manuscripts in a way that supports anonymous review when required, including removing identifying information from the manuscript file where appropriate.
References must be accurate, complete, and consistently formatted. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all citations, equations, figures, tables, datasets, software, and supplementary materials are properly presented and cited.
Authors may upload supplementary materials such as datasets, computer code, appendices, figures, tables, or additional research materials when these are relevant to the evaluation or reproducibility of the manuscript.
Submissions that fall outside the journal’s scope, do not meet minimum scholarly or technical standards, or raise ethical concerns may be declined during the initial editorial assessment.
