Comparative Analysis of Laplace Transform Collocation and Finite Difference Methods for Pseudo-Hyperbolic Telegraph Partial Differential Equations
Keywords:
Pseudo-Hyperbolic Telegraph Equations, Laplace Transform Collocation Method, Finite Difference Method, Numerical Solution, Error EstimatesAbstract
In this study, an examination is conducted on a pseudo hyperbolic telegraph partial differential equation using two effective methods: the Laplace transform collocation method and the finite difference technique. The approximations obtained from both methods are compared, and the collected results are presented in an error analysis table. Additionally, a stability estimate is provided for the problem being investigated. The accrued numerical approximate solutions shows that the finite difference technique is more appropriate and gets better results for the proposed problem than the Laplace transform collocation approach since it is closer to the exact solution. Finally, the obtained results for both approaches are graphically represented.
